We view our role as educators to include the community of Central New York: patients, family, the public, students, and colleagues.

The Department of Otolaryngology includes clinical faculty from the Central New York region. Their active participation in the department includes resident operative interaction and participation in these educational opportunities:

Journal Club

The department schedules quarterly meetings to discuss selected recent peer-reviewed journal articles. This open discussion is meant to critique the quality of the manuscript and place relevance to current understanding of ENT disease and management.

Grand Rounds

On Wednesday morning at 7AM, there is a presentation on an ENT topic given by residents, faculty, or guest speaker. This is held in room 103 Weiskotten Hall. A list of topics and speakers for the current year can be found here.
